Bed and Breakfast accommodation
In 1830 a small farmstead was knocked down and Willowford Farm was built using the abundant and beautifully dressed stone found in Hadrian's Wall. Today we invite you to stay in our bed and breakfast accommodation with a real link to Hadrian's Wall, the impressive remains of which break only to let you enter the farmyard!
In 2007 we converted one of the farm byres into 5 en-suite bedrooms and a dining room - what had been the milking parlour, cart house, grain store and pig holes became guest rooms! Of course, they are done to a very high standard and provide an ideal balance of comfort and facilities. We have range of single, twin, double and family rooms.
They are also full of character with exposed wooden beams, local Westmorland slate flooring and antique furniture. The rooms are very energy efficient as well, using underfloor heating and being well insulated with Thermafleece sheep's wool.
Why not relax in our spacious, comfortable rooms with a cup of Fairtrade tea, coffee, hot chocolate or fruit tea and then indulge in a hot bath or shower using our handmade soaps - perfect after a long day on the Trail. Click here for tariff.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
